Why “Young Adults”?
The age between 17 and 23 is a turbulent time for any person – the time one grows from being a kid to a prospective adult. The secure and protected life parents give their wards often increases the load on these Young Adults when they now try to find their own way in life. One moves from being anchored to being an anchor, from being at port to being at sea.

Which college, which course, new friends, high energy, coming to terms with new freedoms, financial independence and parents who simply don’t think their wards are now adults in their own right are all too challenging for these Young Adults to handle.

This age defines what the basic graduation is going to be, whether  a PG or a PhD. This is probably the first phase of the rest of our lives. Right choices here may make life a lot different – just check with older cousins or uncles/aunts to get real.

Often the first job (which might end up being a life long commitment to many) happens in this age. Getting into the right company and in the right stream gives a completely different progress…
